In recent years, expectations for digital transformation (DX) have increased. In this movement, the automation of operations is progressing in telecommunications carriers, but it is not easy to improve overall efficiency and automation across domains because conventional services are in silos for each domain. One of the means to optimize the whole operation is to build an Enterprise Architecture (EA) and visualize the whole picture of business and IT to achieve governance.
In constructing it, it is common to establish a reference model and refer to it for the purpose of improving work efficiency and quality. The TM Forum (TMF) is advancing the establishment of standard frameworks such as eTOM, SID, and Open API, but it is difficult to use it as a reference model because of non-alignment with them.
This paper describes a construction method of a reference model that clarifies the relationships between TMF standard frameworks. |
