Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Digital watermarking is a technology for hiding information in digital media such as images, video, and audio. In this paper, we proposed a method to detect watermarked images using a transfer-learned deep neural network. The images were pre-processed to grayscale and watermarked in the discrete cosine transform (DCT) domain. According to our results, a network trained by watermarked and unwatermarked images classified with as high as 99% accuracy. Additionally, another network that detects the watermark embedded location in the DCT domain got an accuracy of 91%.
