In this paper, we conducted radio wave propagation measurement and communication experiments using WLAN devices in an operating factory in order to consider the introduction of 2.4 GHz band and 5 GHz band WLAN system into a factory. The radio wave environment was measured in advance near the installation location of the WLAN devices in the factory, and the existence of interference signals in the 2.4 GHz band was confirmed. Next, we conducted communication experiments changing the installation height and data size at each frequency using WLAN devices at several locations in the factory. Stable communication was confirmed in the 5 GHz band even when the WLAN device was mounted on an AGV. Based on the results, communication area was identified in the factory, and it was examined the necessity of relay access point. |
