Networks consisting of many devices require fault-tolerant methods to prepare for device failures. On the other hand, researches on network equipment failure prediction are progressed. As the prediction accuracy improves, it is expected that equipment with high failure rate used in data centers will be applied to transport networks. We have been proposing Expected Capacity Guaranteed Routing (ECGR) based on failure prediction as a fault-tolerant routing method under high network failure environment. In this paper, we clarify the conditional dependence of the failure rate of devices and path’s holding time to improve the performance of ECGR. |
