Study on Analyzation of Class Observation Different between Expert Teachers and Beginner Teachers
Sho Ooi (OIT), Takeshi Goto (Oji E.S.) ET2021-14
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) The aim of our study that we develop a reflection system for improving beginner teachers' teaching skills, and we have analyzed teachers' and students' states such as behavior, speech, and gesture. Beginner teachers (students) are low teaching abilities than expert teachers because they are few teaching experiences in practice. To improve the teaching ability of beginner teachers, it is good that they experience the class in an actual scene and observe the class of other teachers. In particular, focusing on observation of teachers' classes, beginner teachers do not know where are observation points in the class; therefore, this study analyzes using the word cloud method differents of observation points between beginner teachers and expert teachers.
