In the corporate feed of a waveguide slot array antenna, each element is fed with an equal-length line, which increases the bandwidth, but the long line causes a large transmission loss. In the terahertz band, where the frequency is high, there is a possibility that the necessary bandwidth can be obtained even if it is narrowed by adopting the partial series feed. In this case, the transmission loss can be reduced, and as a result, the gain at the band edge may be higher than that by full corporate feed. From this point of view, the purpose of this paper is to clarify the quantitative relationship among the feeding configuration, bandwidth, and gain in the terahertz band. |
