[Poster Presentation] Study on Equivalent Permittivity Estimating Method for Composite Materials

(in English) In order to estimate indoor propagation characteristics by electromagnetic analysis method, accurate electrical constants of building materials such as walls are required. On the other hand, there are composite materials composed of concrete and reinforcing bars, such as reinforced concrete. We are researching an estimation method for equivalently indicating one dielectric constant for this composite material. An example of an experimental study using the transmission and reflection characteristics of general building materials has already been reported in the paper. Therefore, we investigated the estimation of the permittivity of composite materials using the electromagnetic analysis space. In this paper, we report the result of estimating the complex relative permittivity using the standing wave and the transmission method.
