In mobile communication systems, HAPS (High-Altitude Platform System), which flies at an altitude of about 20 km and uses the same frequency as that of the ground as a communication base station, is expected to be a technology to provide a stable communication environment. In the HAPS configuration using the same frequency, interference from the HAPS to the terrestrial cellular system is an issue, and interference mitigation technology is essential to improve the interference. In this paper, we propose a "network-coupled transmission interference canceller" in which HAPS cells and macrocells cooperate with each other to cancel HAPS cell signals simultaneously. In general, there is a limit to the transmission power of a macrocell. Therefore, we propose a transmission interference canceller technique that takes into account the maximum transmission power of the cancellation signal of each macrocell, and evaluate the effectiveness of its application. |
