Weight Function for a Three-Axis Orthogonally Arranged Dipoles Considering the Antenna Tilt Angle in a Cluster Propagation Environment

(in English) In our previous study, a three-axis orthogonal weighted-polarization wearable antenna that has the weight function determined by considering the variation in the XPR and antenna tilt angle was presented. In the flying car-to-car communication, flying cars have a high degree of freedom in varying their flight routes in both horizontal and vertical directions. This paper presents a weight function in considerations of not only the XPR and the antenna tilt angle but also the direction of incoming wave as a key parameter to achieve the optimum three-dimensional radiation pattern according to the propagation environment. The analytical results show that the desired directivity of the three orthogonal weighted-polarization antennas with proposed weight function can be formed towards the incoming wave direction. The 4 ×4 MIMO channel capacity calculated by Monte Carlo simulation is constant regardless the propagation environment.
