Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Cavity-mediated adiabatic transfer (CMAT) enables two-qubit gate between atomic qubits trapped in an optical cavity. However, the fidelity of CMAT decreases for faster CMAT operation, which is required for achieving the gate time sufficiently shorter than finite lifetime of the atoms. On the other hand, the dissipation of cavity systems also limits the success probability of CMAT, which is closely related to the optimal operation time of CMAT. Here we investigate the system-parameter design and the conditions of the operation time to keep the total error of CMAT low. In particular, we discuss lower limits of the operation time to achieve total success probability near the upper bound derived in a previous study [H. Goto and K. Ichimura, Phys. Rev. A 77, 013816 (2008)].
