| (in English) | In recent research on network topology, there are some studies that deal with graphs more faithful to real-world networks. One of these graphs is the Host-Switch graph. This graph has two types of vertices : a host vertex with degree 1 and a switch vertex with degree at most Radix. For any given number of hosts, $H$ and Radix, constructing a Host-Switch graph that has $H$ hosts with small diameter and small average shortest path length (ASPL) between hosts is called the Host/Radix problem. This paper designs an algorithm to obtain a small ASPL for the Host-Switch graph with diameter 4. Then the result of a Graph Golf competition using the algorithm is described. | |
