| (in English) | The positioning simulation in multi-DME(Distance Measuring Equipment) using flight check data is examined. It is basic to solve simultaneous equations as with GPS, but distance measurements can be obtained with DMEs. However, the DME/N tolerance is 365m, which is an order of magnitude larger than GPS. In order to obtain the three-dimensional position, it is better to combine the barometric altitude data with higher accuracy than DME, and calculate only the horizontal position at that altitude with DME. The least squares method could be used, if more than three DME ground stations were available. A method for suppressing positioning error and estimation of positioning error from DME data were also examined. | |
