The purpose of this research is to develop a system that suggests combinations of plates that enhance the food. The Selection of plates is a significant element to change the impression of the whole meal. To select a plate that highlights the food, it is necessary to consider not only the compatibility of the plates but also the compatibility between the plates and the food on which they are served. However, it is difficult to make such an appropriate choice. To solve this problem the plate and the food, to quantify the compatibility between the plate and the food. In the proposed method, we extract typical characteristics for each dish such as size, shape, and material using its product information described in an e-commerce web site, and treat them as the compatibility between the plate and the food. |
