[Short Paper] An Implementation of Real-Time Background Removal Method based on Estimated Depth for Augmented Reality

(in English) Augmented Reality (AR) is one of the virtual space technologies, and as a visual application using a camera and a mobile terminal, a mechanism for superimposing various information on the captured real image has been proposed. On the other hand, as a visual AR application, it is conceivable to remove an object over a certain distance from the shooting terminal from the image as a background and display the image replaced with an arbitrary background in real time.In this research, we assume a smartphone or tablet terminal and examine a method to remove the background from the real-time image projected by the camera.
