Shotcrete is widely used for supporting underground cavities because of its excellent workability. However, in a high place, a scaffold is required for hammer inspection, and thus, efficiency of work has been a problem. Therefore, development of a method capable of performing defect detection from a long distance in a noncontact manner is expected. This time, a shotcrete specimen was manufactured and a basic verification experiment using the noncontact acoustic inspection method was conducted. From the experimental results, it was clarified that defect detection is possible as in the previous demonstration experiment in the huge underground cavern ceiling. |
