A Routing Control Method expanding Candidate Routes in Distributed Control SDM-EON

(in English) In recent years, communication traffic has been increasing rapidly, and higher speed and capacity transmission is required in the field of core networks. In the field of optical backbone networks, elastic optical networks and space-division multiplexing technologies have been attracting attention. In our previous study, we proposed a routing method that allows multiple candidates to be obtained by withholding PATH messages when establishing a path in a distributed control SDM-EON environment, and selects a route in consideration of the number of hops and the amount of resources used. However, in the previous study, the candidate routes that can be obtained were severely limited because the relay node had a rule that a request with the same connection ID could only be forwarded once. In this paper, we propose a routing method that expands the number of candidate routes by increasing the number of times a relay node relays a PATH message with the same connection ID. As a result of simulation evaluation, the load is distributed, the utilization efficiency of the entire network is improved, and the rejection rate is improved.
