High-Accuracy Optical Frequency Transfer Technology over WDM Networks

(in English) Optical clocks have been developed as a next-generation high-accuracy frequency oscillation source, and high-accuracy frequencies are required for highly stable communication in 5G mobile and time synchronization in distributed processing between data centers. In this study, in order to distribute the optical frequency of an optical clock over commercial telecom networks, we are investigating a technology that uses WDM networks to transmit the optical frequency while maintaining the accuracy. In this paper, we report the results of the evaluation of optical frequency transfer on the effect of WDM devices and the data signal.
