| (in English) | In order to realize a carbon-neutral society, the shift from gasoline vehicles to electric vehicles (EVs) is being promoted. EVs use various charging infrastructures, such as fast chargers, which are already used in many places. Fast chargers can be targets of new cyber attacks. In the existing research, threats against fast charging have been studied, but they have not been studied based on the analysis of fast charging protocols. In this study, we propose a new threat analysis method for EV. This study focused on the fast charging between EV and chargers. Also, we analyzed the communication protocol of fast charging. Then, for each threat candidate, we examined the concrete attack method and verified the feasibility of the attack on the actual device. In addition, we propose countermeasures against the successfully demonstrated threats. |
