Digital Control of Secondary Side LC Resonant Converter -- Investigation of PWM control --

(in English) LC current resonant converters are expected to be applied to various circuits because of their small size, high efficiency and low noise. In this paper, as an application of the secondary-side resonant circuit, we will fabricate a high-voltage, low-current power supply circuit for a vacuum tube amplifier. However, the LC series resonant converter becomes difficult to control by frequency control when the output current becomes light load. [1] PWM control was found to be sufficient for the light load region. By using digital control with negative feedback, control with an error rate of 0.2% was achieved even in the light load region.
