Acoustic diagnosis and monitoring for high voltage switchgear

(in English) This paper proposes a method for estimating stroke speed from sounds made during the opening and closing of high-voltage switchgear for power transmission and distribution to automate inspections of such equipment. The proposed method extracts spectrograms at the timing of openings and closings as templates from training sound and predicts stoke speed based on template matching. The experimental results using a spring-operated 145 kV switchgear showed that the estimation accuracy was sufficient to estimate a 10% deviation from specification, which is considered an anomaly.
