| (in English) | In recent years, automated driving technology has been developed, which is expected to provide many benefits such as reducing the burden on drivers. However, disadvantages such as decreasing of driver's concentration and increasing drowsiness have been concerned due to decreased alertness under the automated driving situation. To prevent the loss of concentration or alertness toward emergency procedures, it is necessary that to maintain driver's alertness. As a basic experimental system, the simulator with automatic driving have been constructed, and driver's drowsiness during automatic driving have been evaluated by using facial expression evaluation method. | |
