Crack Extraction Method for Concrete Walls Using Morphology

(in English) In recent years, cracks in concrete walls have been inspected using image processing. In this paper, a crack extraction method using morphological black hat and closing process is examined to extract cracks on concrete wall surfaces. The obtained results are compared with edge extraction methods using Laplacian filter and Gaussian function to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
