A Study of Common Mode Noise Analysis Method Using Scalar Potential

(in English) As a study of a common-mode noise analysis method, we use electromagnetic potentials and focus on the average of the scalar potential in the circuit which is called sum-mode potential.
The sum-mode potential can be regarded as the common-mode with respect to infinity. This research report focuses on the relationship between the asymmetry of the circuit geometry and the sum mode and qualitatively clarifies the mechanism of common-mode noise generation caused by the sum mode using transient response analysis simulations in the time domain.
