Development of mutually enhanced radar is underway. The radar enhances the capabilities of each other by utilizing the transmitted waves of multiple radars and improves the detection performance of long-distance and high-speed flying objects. The LPRF(Low Pulse Repetition Frequency) radar observation data is used for distance measurement of long-distance and high-speed flying objects, and the HPRF(High PRF) radar observation data is used for speed measurement. By using the LPRF radar without distance ambiguity and the HPRF radar without velocity ambiguity together, it is possible to measure the distance and speed without ambiguity. Integrating each observation data is also expected to improve the target detection performance. In this report, we investigated a method for improving the detection performance of flying objects moving at high speed over long distances using the mutually enhanced radar. By computer simulation, detection performance of the proposed mutual enhancement radar and the normal single radar for long-distance and high-speed projectile targets is compared.
