LPRF (Low Pulse Repetition Frequency) radar is used to observe distant targets. While the range of unambiguous solvable distance is wide, the range of unambiguous solvable speed is narrow, resulting in speed ambiguity. Therefore, in order to accurately solve the true target speed from a wide speed range, a search by many speed candidates is required, and there is a problem that the calculation load is high. In this thesis, We propose a coherent integration method that is not affected by speed ambiguity in LPRF radars that achieve both estimation accuracy and computational load reduction using velocity estimation by detection intensity distribution for a small number of velocity candidates with ∑Δpattern. In addition, the velocity and range estimation accuracy and SNR evaluation results of the proposed method by computer simulation are shown. |
