| (in English) | We consider a random replacement policy in which a unit is replaced at random time. It is known that age and periodic replacement with time $T$ are better than random replacement when their preventive maintenance costs are the same. So, we consider some cases that maintenance costs are smaller than those of age and periodic replacement. That is, we obtain numerically maintenance cost of random replacement in which the expected cost rate of random replacement become equal to those of age and periodic replacement. It can be assumed, in random replacement policy, a unit is replaced at time that some works has completed. We treat, two cases that a unit is replaced at completion time of: (i) one work, (ii) Nth (N=1,2,...) works. At first, we compare random replacement with age replacement policy. Next, we compare random replacement policy with periodic replacement policy which has minimal repair of the failures. Numerical examples for the replacement policies are given when the failure distribution is Weibull distribution and the working time distribution is exponential. |
