Development of ontology for a chatbot with frequently updated knowledge
Shigenori Takeda, Takako Nakatani (OUJ) SS2022-5 KBSE2022-15
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) If we implement frequently updated knowledge in an instance model ontology, the ontology should be updated according to the updating of the unstable knowledge. Because, in general, an ontology is built with stable knowledge, it is not adequate to incorporate frequently updated knowledge into the ontology. Some of websites publish and maintain such unstable knowledge.
We focus on such websites. In this paper, we have implemented the hybrid knowledge structure with two kinds of knowlege: i.e. a general ontology, and unstable knowledge that is maintained in websites. In order to evaluate the effectiveness of this knowledge implementation, we have developed a chatbot that references such hybrid knowledge.
