Style Feature Extraction by Contrastive Learning and Mutual Information Constraints

(in English) Extracting style features is crucial for analyzing data. This paper proposes a style feature extraction using variational autoencoders conditioned by contrastive learning. Because contrastive learning methods learn style-independent features, the autoencoders can learn style features. Additionally, we introduce a constraint based on mutual information to ensure the independence of the two types of features. Experiments on two datasets of character images and two datasets of natural images show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
