Photo Response Non-Uniformity (PRNU) caused by light sensitivity variations in an image sensor can be utilized as an digital camera device fingerprint. By extracting this PRNU from photo images, we can identify the camera device that shoots the photos. In this research, we employ this identification technique for instrumentation security enhancement in an autonomous infrastructure monitoring system. This paper reports implementation case study by utilizing multiple compact network cameras for the monitoring system. |
