Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) While automated driving technology develops, it is conceivable that humans may impose responsibility on cars. In this study, we aimed to increase the sense of responsibility of humans in Level 3 automatic driving. Based on the idea that people have a sense of responsibility for matters that they have a favorable impression of, we used an agent that has a favorable impression through empathy as a method. Through the analysis, a difference was found between the first empathy agent condition and the first non-sympathy agent condition. The conclusion was that the sense of responsibility on the human side increases when the task is performed with an agent who empathizes first. We also found that the experience of empathy had an effect on later impressions.
