A Method of Scenario Analysis by Letent Semantic Analysis(LSA). -- Appealing Structure Analysis of 2.5D Musical "Touken Ranbu". --

Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In recent years, 2.5-dimensional musicals have achieved remarkable growth as stage productions based on various popular manga, anime, and video games. The “Touken Ranbu: The Musical” and the “Stage: Touken Ranbu” can be said to be a driving force behind such 2.5-dimensional productions. This study focused on the scenarios of the musical part of the "Touken Ranbu: The Musical," which started earlier in the series, and examined a method of appealing structure analysis of the scenarios using latent semantic analysis (LSA) by processing six plays. First, each play was analyzed by LSA to extract the appealing structure of each work, and differences were explored. Next, all six plays were analyzed using LSA to examine the appealing structure and common elements of the entire plays. Also, the appealing power of 2.5-dimensional musicals and future research issues are discussed.
