[Poster Presentation] Improving CSI Interpolation Accuracy of Iterative IDFT/DFT with HTRCI for OFDM Scattered Pilots

(in English) Scattered pilot assignment can enhance channel estimation and data transmission efficiency in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM).
Null subcarriers, where pilot symbols are not assigned, are available to estimate channel state information (CSI) for other user terminals or antenna elements.
It can also realize efficient multiple CSI estimation.
In this case, CSI for null subcarriers should be interpolated and its accuracy affects data transmission performance.

We previously proposed highly accurate CSI interpolation scheme by iterative IFFT/FFT with time-domain zeroizing and frequency-domain pilot subcarrier replacement.
This paper further enhances CSI estimation accuracy by incorporating high-time resolution carrier interferometry (HTRCI) which combines aliases of impulse response to realize CSI interpolation.
Computer simulation discloses its effectiveness in terms of CSI estimation accuracy and bit error rate (BER) performances.
