[Poster Presentation] A Study of Station Building Models for Radio Propagation Simulation of Railway Environments

(in English) It is important to figure out radio propagation characteristics by simulations of radio wave propagation when designing a radio communication system between trains and ground station in railway environments. But the radio propagation environments including station buildings have not been considered well. The station buildings on bridge especially block radio waves between trains and ground stations, therefore, it is important to consider the shape of the station buildings. By generalizing the station building of different configurations as simple model, efficiency improvement of the simulation is expected. In this report we report a result of the simulation using the simple station building models.
