Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In this presentation, we consider a density-based wireless power transmission scheme for intermittently connected MANETs (Mobile Ad Hoc Networks).
In the intermittently connected MANET, the density of mobile nodes is very low, and thus the nodes can communicate when they encounter each other. Although the intermittently connected MANETs have the advantage of being able to communicate in poor communication environments without infrastructure, they have the problem of depleting the battery of nodes due to the power consumed by sending and receiving messages. In this presentation, we propose a wireless power transmission scheme to prevent battery depletion by transferring wireless power from a node with a large remaining battery capacity to a node with a small remaining battery capacity when they encounter each other. When nodes encounter each other at a high density location, it is
expected that the power can be diffused to the nodes around the location by transferring a large amount of power. Therefore, the proposed method transfers more power at a high density location than at a low density location. Through the simulation experiments, we show that the proposed scheme can efficiently spread power and extend the network lifetime by taking into account the density.
