[Poster Presentation] Design of Frequency-Selective Dual-Band Thin-Film Reflect Array in the 28 GHz/39 GHz Band

(in English) In recent years, 5th generation mobile communication systems (5G) frequencies are expected to be expanded in order to cope with the increasing communication traffic. Since 5G communications use radio waves in the high-frequency band, a large amount of bandwidth can be secured, and high-speed communications are possible. On the other hand, radio waves in the high-frequency band have strong linearity, and coverage holes, places where radio waves do not reach, are likely to occur. In this study, we propose a dual-band thin-film Reflect array that can simultaneously reflect and control the 28 GHz band and the 39 GHz band which is the candidate frequency band for additional allocation, in order to reduce coverage holes. In this paper, we report the results of our study of the reflector that can reflect and control only two frequency bands, 28 and 39 GHz, which have particularly strong linearity in 5G communications ,in arbitrary directions, and transmit the other frequency bands without interference.
