Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Intensity and phase distributions of multiplexed OAM beams propagating in free space fluctuate due to atmospheric turbulence. In order to discriminate the mode order of an OAM beam at the receiver, it is necessary to reduce the effect of its phase variation. In this research, we propose an optical compensation method using a reference beam and a wavefront sensor. In this paper, we report that the parameters of a single-mode OAM reference beam that compensates a multiplexed OAM beam with high performance are clarified using computer simulations.
