In deploying BACnet/IP on large buildings, it is necessary to analyze the impact of unauthorized access on the facilities. However,
it is cost-prohibitive to verify all of this using a real environment. This report describes an evaluation platform we have developed to solve this
problem. This evaluation platform emulates a large-scale building with 100,000 monitoring points through BACnet/IP by using multiple
computers. It also provides stable operation of a large-scale building with BACnet/IP communication to be verified without the need for actual
equipment. In addition, this report describes on the development of an automatic parameter setting tool for easy emulation, and confirmation
that the CPU load and other parameters are appropriate when the tool is executed. |
