In this paper, we propose an indoor 3D positioning method of a single microphone using a single speaker.
The proposed method estimates the azimuth and elevation of a microphone by comparing obtained frequency characteristics with reference data previously measured for each azimuth and elevation.
The distance between the speaker and microphone is estimated by using the received amplitude value and the attenuation model of the acoustic signal.
We report the results of 3D positioning experiments in a real environment. |
