Stochastic resonance phenomenon is one of the methods that can detect weak signals buried in noise. In this paper, we proposed a novel stochastic resonance processor using differential input buffer in field programmable gate array (FPGA). The proposed processor obtained a waveform with a correlation coefficient and a determination coefficient of 0.9 or more with a 1 mVrms sinusoidal signal applied by an oscillator. As an application of the proposed processor, an electromyogram (EMG) measurement was attempted. As a result, by using an instrumentation amplifier together, a waveform with a high correlation coefficient and a determination coefficient with the EMG was obtained. These results suggested the possibility of applying the proposed processor to biological signal measurement. |
