Design and Trial Production of Stochastic Resonance Processor using Differential Input Buffer in FPGA

(in English) Stochastic resonance phenomenon is one of the methods that can detect weak signals buried in noise. In this paper, we proposed a novel stochastic resonance processor using differential input buffer in field programmable gate array (FPGA). The proposed processor obtained a waveform with a correlation coefficient and a determination coefficient of 0.9 or more with a 1 mVrms sinusoidal signal applied by an oscillator. As an application of the proposed processor, an electromyogram (EMG) measurement was attempted. As a result, by using an instrumentation amplifier together, a waveform with a high correlation coefficient and a determination coefficient with the EMG was obtained. These results suggested the possibility of applying the proposed processor to biological signal measurement.
