[Poster Presentation] Optimizing the coupling efficiency of collinear spontaneous parametric down-conversion photon pairs into single-mode fibers

(in English) Spontaneous parametric down conversion (SPDC) plays important role in photonic quantum information science. In particular, coupling photon pairs into single-mode fibers are indispensable for various applications because of spatial indistinguishability between photon pairs. We report an experimental investigation on the optimization of the correlated-mode coupling efficiency and the brightness of frequency-degenerated collinear SPDC photon pairs into single-mode optical fibers. To be specific, we quantitatively clarify the correlated-mode coupling efficiency dependent on focusing condition over broad ranges as continuously changing the focusing condition of the pump and collection modes inside the crystal. We achieved a maximal correlated-mode coupling efficiency of 99.0 +/- 1.3%.
