Hysteresis Current Control of DC-DC Converter -- Consideration of Fixed frequency operation --

(in English) In DC-DC converters, hysteresis control is known for its excellent transient characteristics against sudden changes in load current. In this section, we attempt to directly control the current by converting the ripple current in a step-down DC-DC converter to voltage using a differential amplifier circuit and using hysteresis control to verify whether constant current characteristics can be observed and whether good transient response characteristics can be obtained. We will also verify whether fixed frequency operation can be used to support multi-phase configurations, and whether the same characteristics can be obtained. As a result of the verification, the constant current characteristics were confirmed, but it became clear that good transient response characteristics could not be obtained.
