In this study, we examined the effects of sampling frequency on macrosaccade, saccade, and gaze
detection, which are eye movement features, by resampling data measured at 1 KHz. As an
observation experiment of eye movements, we compared and examined the number of feature
detections, mean intersections, and eye movement distances obtained from eye movement data at
different resampling frequencies in three tasks: fixation, random saccade, and reading tasks. As a
result, it was found that the trends of the detected eye movement features by sampling frequency
differed from task to task and feature to feature. |
