(in English) In the next-generation mobile communication system Beyond 5G, the active use of terahertz waves with higher frequencies is being studied. The application of terahertz waves to sensing and imaging has advantages such as less adverse effects on the human body than conventional X-rays, and has better accuracy, and higher resolution than millimeter waves used for dangerous goods inspection at airports. The purpose of this research is to design a scanning terahertz imaging optical system using polygon mirrors.
