[Invited Talk] Atomic configuration modeling of battery materials by total scattering measurements

(in English) Total scattering measurements were performed on lithium-rich transition metal oxides with a disordered rocksalt-type structure, which is expected to be used as a positive-electrode material for lithium-ion batteries. The analytical results show that the local structure is strongly dependent on the metal composition, and in particular, there is a unique structure around cations with a high valence.
