Sleep Posture Estimation by Captured Wi-Fi Packets

(in English) Sleep posture influences sleep quality and is also considered linked to some diseases.
Therefore, estimating one's sleep posture is an important health issue.
In this paper, we propose a method to estimate sleep posture from compressed beamforming feedback matrices (CBFM) obtained from Wi-Fi packets.
In this method, we extract features from denoised CBFM and adopt principal component analysis to the features.
After that, we use a support vector machine (SVM) or random forest (RF) to estimate sleep postures.
The experimental result shows that our method was able to obtain 89.2% accuracy at the maximum in estimating sleep posture with SVM.
