Wearable prosthetic hands are expected to be applied to patients with hand motor and speech impairments, as well as industrial and disaster relief robots.
We has been working on the wireless wearable prosthetic hand using human body communication.
Human body communication uses electrodes placed on the human body, and the structure of the electrodes has a great influence on the communication characteristics.
In this study, we focused on the receiving electrode and derived a simplified equation for the receiving voltage from a simple circuit model to show the effect of various parameters of the receiving electrode structure on the receiving voltage.
Based on the results, the receiving electrode was designed, and the usefulness of the electrode design based on the simplified equation and the superiority of the designed electrode were verified by simulation. |
