Texture Reproduction of Ultrasonic Mid-Air Haptics Based on Amplitude Modulation Signal Generation Using Fricative Sounds Feature Extraction and Hand Tracking

(in English) We have proposed a method to reproduce the texture of an object by recording and analyzing the fricative sounds of the object to be reproduced, extracting features of the object's surface, and generating an amplitude modulation signal using these features as parameters in ultrasonic mid-air haptics. In this paper, we propose a texture reproduction method that changes the presented sensation according to the movement of the hand by using a hand tracking device and adding the hand speed as a parameter when generating the amplitude modulation signal. To confirm the effectiveness of the proposed method, we conducted subjective evaluation experiments on the texture, and confirmed that the sensation changes according to the hand movement when a rough object is reproduced.
