Introduction IoT Indoor Evacuation Guidance System into Indoor Evacuation Simulation with Network Model

(in English) In Japan, many disasters have occurred due to natural conditions such as earthquakes and typhoons. In such cases, there is a concern about secondary disasters caused by crowd panic in places where many people gather, such as commercial facilities. In order to prevent secondary disasters, it is necessary for the crowd to evacuate smoothly. We have developed an evacuation simulation using a particle model. However, the particle model has the problem that the number of simulation operations increases as the number of particles increases. In this study, we developed an evacuation simulation using a network model to reduce the simulation time. In addition, we introduced an IoT Indoor Evacuation Guidance System to prevent congestion at certain exits. Then, we evaluated the model by comparing the results of the particle model and the network model simulation. As a result, the simulation time of the network model was 0.03 to 0.10 times faster than that of the particle model. In addition, the number of evacuees from each exit of the evacuation site was compared, and the results were close to those of the particle model.
