Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) This study proposes an interior simulation method using CycleGAN, an image generation technique. The proposed method uses multiple CycleGANs to learn various interior orientations in advance. Then, the CycleGAN transformer is used to generate images based on the original interior photographs during the interior design simulation. By making the transformation direction multidimensional, it is possible to present various variations of interior designs to the user. In the experiment, various interior styles such as "Japanese style" and "vintage style" were generated while maintaining the original room and furniture shape, confirming the usefulness of the proposed method.
