Recently, cyber-physical systems have garnered attention, and the underlying sensing technologies are being extensively studied. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, non-contact technologies are in high demand. With this in mind, we are researching a non-contact sensing technology that leverages changes in the antenna's characteristics in response to changes in its surroundings. We focus on non-contact proximity sensors for the human body and non-contact paper thickness sensors. This article outlines the evaluation of both sensor technologies through FDTD (Finite Difference Time Domain) analysis and experiments, as well as the trial of the sensor circuit. |
